The butterfly valve is usually used as a shut-off valve but can also regulate a flow. The valve can be used for clean liquids, seawater, air and solid media. We have butterfly valves for drinking water with WRAS or DVGW certificates and for gas with DVGW certificate. For the marine sector we have DNV, BV and Lloyd's certificates. The valve is also available in ATEX version, TA air for atmospheric sealing, Fire-Safe according to API 607 sixth edition and in SIL 3 version.
As standard, our soft-sealed butterfly valves have interchangeable lining. The most common lining is EPDM and NBR, but it is possible to obtain other materials depending on the media. You can also get the valve with enamelled inside.
The butterfly valves are available in centric, double-eccentric and tripple-eccentric designs. The models BPS2313, BPS2303 and BPS2305 have a stem bushing in PTFE which means that the valve is easily operated and cannot corrode between the stem and body. The Butterfly valve is available in several different materials depending on the media and the surrounding environment. The valve can be operated manually or controlled with an electric or pneumatic actuator.
