The ball valve is suitable for media such as liquids and gases. It is available in several designs such as 1-pc, 2-pc and 3-pc, compact and 3-way. Different types of connections are available, such as female thread, male thread, welded and flanged connection. The most common use of a ball valve is as a shut off valve, open or closed. In some cases it will also work as a control valve.
