Flange gasket with a vulcanized flat steel ring. The mainbody rubber is a special nitrile rubber (NBR-DUO) whichmakes it suitable for waste water as well drinking waterand gas acc. to DVGW. The main body is combined witha round cord ring (O-ring) placed closest to the inner diameter. This allows forexcellent tightness even at lowsurface pressures. This gasket has many advantages such as, sealing under minimum bolt tightening, compensation of surface imperfections and angle differences are more easily compensated compared to simple flat gaskets.
